Day One

We all have expectations of what day one is supposed to feel like. Maybe it's the first day of school, or a new job. Or perhaps you just got married, and you're experiencing your first day of the rest of your life with your spouse. The anticipation can be overwhelming, an onslaught of emotions as destiny barrels towards us moment by moment.

So what did we expect today, this day, the first day of the rest of our lives? Today is unremarkable, in that it is a Monday, like any of the previous 900 or so Monday's in the employment of someone else. It is with tremendous gratitude that we thank all of our previous employers for the wonderful support and opportunity for so many years.

But today is not a normal Monday. Today is the day we set out and forge a new path, one unworn by the atrophy of time. Today we experience inertia, the other kind, the one requiring massive amounts of torque to launch something from the line, rather than horsepower to stay in motion.

It's interesting to reflect with honesty and admit we have no idea where this is going. It feels too vulnerable to say that, but we've promised you authenticity. We have no idea where we're going. It sounds like a bad thing, but in truth it is simply that we refuse to place boundaries on our destination. We are going to help as many people as possible, and never going to presuppose what is possible.

Thank you for joining and supporting us. We've built the foundation of capability to launch this venture on the backs of so many people, we cannot begin to repay you with simple gratitude.

Please reach out and say hello. We'd love to get to know you, it's why we're here.
